In this qualitative study, we are interviewing hospitalized or recently hospitalized Latino Spanish-speaking patients and/or care partners who have engaged with specialty palliative care and have a documented serious illness conversation. We ask about their experiences with communication with clinicians, including both primary teams and specialty palliative care, and elicit their needs and recommendations for improving communication.
