Administrative Team

Katie Fitch joins us from the MGH Metabolism Unit where she worked as a Clinical Research Nurse Practitioner. In this role Katie conducted research to improve the understanding of metabolic complications of HIV, including cardiovascular disease. She also worked as the Project Manager of the CCC for the REPRIEVE trial; an NIH funded, multicenter trial that demonstrated the efficacy of a statin to prevent atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease events among individuals living with HIV.
Clinically, Katie has worked as a nurse practitioner at the Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. She helped to start the Age Positively Program at the MGH Infectious Disease Clinic, a program focused on the health of people aging with HIV, and she has worked in the Lipid and Metabolism Clinic also at MGH.
Originally hailing from the PNW, Katie has acclimated to the charms of New England winters, finding solace in skiing the icy slopes as often as she can. Beyond work she enjoys biking and stand-up paddle boarding, and cherishes quality time with her husband Joe, their two daughters (Winona and Delila), and their tiny dog Lupa.
