Administrative Team
Joy L. Lee is a Senior Research Scientist at the Mongan Institute Center for Aging and Serious Illness. Dr. Lee received her PhD in health services research from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and has a master’s degree in health policy from Harvard T. Chan School of Public Health. She is a part of the West Health Accelerator where she serves as an implementation scientist to evaluate the Accelerator’s initiatives across the MGH system. Dr. Lee brings 15 years’ experience in designing, executing, and implementing mixed-methods projects focused on improving healthcare experiences for patients and clinician, with special interest in electronic communication, Veteran health, and the care experiences of gender minority patients. Outside of work, she enjoys Teddy Grahams, poetry slams, and getting too competitive about Bananagrams.
