ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible, participants must be US citizens, have a doctoral-level degree, and be at least two years from their terminal degree with a demonstrated commitment to geriatric palliative care or dementia research. International applicants are not eligible for this opportunity.
REVIEW PROCESS
Applications will be evaluated by a committee of dementia palliative care experts. Candidates will not be provided with critiques of their application. Click HERE for the Application.
EXPECTATIONS
Selected participants will be expected to:
1) Attend the in-person Institute January 9 – 13, 2023 in its entirety
2) Actively participate in all assigned webinars
3) Update small group leaders and the Leadership team regularly of their research progress
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The following five items must be included:

NIH Biosketch
-
A one-page clinical trial “Specific Aims” page

An institutional letter of recommendation including commitment for time/support for applicant

Name of the applicant’s mentor with letter of commitment from the mentor
-
A funding plan (listing at least three potential funding mechanisms for submission of a proposal derived from the trial protocol)
