Sr. Grants Administrator, center-wide

We are seeking an organized and enthusiastic Senior Grants Administrator to provide life-cycle oversight and management (Pre- and Post-Award) to a portfolio of sponsored research projects. Individuals who are mission-driven, proven problem-solvers, and experienced with synthesizing information from myriad sources are ideal candidates for this position; prior experience with federal research grants or in clinical research settings is preferred but not required. The candidate will work under the general supervision of the CASI Director and Research Administrative Manager while collaborating with CASI Faculty Investigators and Program Managers.

Program Director, PCORI Study

The Center for Aging and Serious Illness (CASI) is seeking a PhD or Masters-level project director with training and experience in multi-site clinical trials to oversee a large comparative effectiveness study focused on older adults with complex care needs. The candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team from Massachusetts General Hospital (Center Director, and Clinical Research Coordinators), alongside close collaborators from several other institutions across the nation. The team’s research is focused on the improvement of patient and caregiver outcomes for high-risk older adults (ages 65+) with chronic and serious healthcare conditions. The Research Project Director will lead research study administration and operations, including supervision of research activities, staff training, and directing recruitment staff at distant sites.

Program Manager, Research Training 

The Center for Aging and Serious Illness (CASI) is seeking a Program Manager to lead day-to-day administrative and operational needs of our research training programs. CASI training programs currently include NIH T32 Post-doctoral Fellowships, NIH  R25 Research Education Programs, medical student training, and short-term volunteer opportunities.

The program manager is accountable for meeting programmatic milestones, executing sponsored program deliverables, facilitating regular communication with key stakeholders, and coordinating institute logistics. They are expected to develop and monitor program budgets, implement marketing and communication strategies, and track trainee engagement,  all for review by leadership team members and sponsor stakeholders. The Program Manager must be highly organized, have an attention to detail,  and be capable of managing the logistics of multiple projects and events simultaneously.  They will ensure the success of the Centers’ research training programs and educational experiences.

Clinical Research Coordinator II, various studies

Working under the direct supervision of the CASI Faculty Principal Investigator(s) and the CASI Director, and generally under the Research Administrative Manager, the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) will assist with the coordination and execution of multiple clinical research studies and/or clinical trials. The CRC will also work with faculty, program managers, and data analysts to support a range of initiatives in the research center and our affiliated internal hospital division, departments, and collaborators to ensure that all health system protocols are followed. The CRC consistently strives to assure and improve the quality of all aspects of the CASI Research Programs.

Clinical Research Coordinator II duties may also assist with Center operational tasks and the training and orientation of new staff members.
