Andrew Kiselica, PhD

Dr. Kiselica is an Associate Professor in the Institute of Gerontology and a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist in the Cognitive Aging Research and Education (CARE) Center at the University of Georgia. His primary research focus involves understanding how we can leverage everyday technologies, like smartphones and smart speakers, to improve the lives of persons with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD) and their care partners. This work primarily includes developing training and support programs to expand and enhance use of digital devices in ADRD care routines. His other scholarly interests include developing and validating advanced techniques for early detection of ADRD symptoms, with a special focus on transitional cognitive decline in preclinical Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Kiselica also provides clinical services, education, and outreach to diverse older adults through the Cognitive Aging Research and Education (CARE) Center at the University of Georgia.
